Firefox Help!!!

What internet browser do you use?

I have been using firefox for a long time now. it is a hell of a lot faster than ie. i will continue to use it so i would like this problem fixed if possible.

Today out of the blue for n apparent reason browsing in firefox when clicking on links it wouldnt go anywhere. i tried several sites and they are all the same. so naturally i thought reinstalling would be the way to go. i backed up my bookmarks with mozbackup and uninstalled.

i then downloaded firefox from their website and installed. i launched it and it was like before. bookmarks, and the problem. i tried several times. i also tried going over it without uninstalling and uninstalling with smarty uninstaller pro. i got rid of registry entries and program files entries.

help will b much appreciated. thanx

ie is 2 slow. i got ie7 and they coppied lts from firefox. they also stuffed up the menu bar being in the middle.

i don't think so i don't do that stuff but shouldn't me having uninstlled it several times have fixed it? it is no prob for me 2 reinstall but iv tried it and nothing changes. maybe windows files? i dunno but its gotta be keeping the files somewhere.

how would i see if i have changed the proxy settings (and fix them)?

I use IE7 and I like it better than Firefox. That's right I said I like IE better than Firefox and all you Mozilla loving hippies can bite me :P

I find IE to be faster than FF and much better on RAM.

Indeed and this is almost the first time I've heard it.
The thing is, when IE 8.0 comes ( in 4-5 months they say, yeah pretty fast ) even Mozilla fans will get on IE.
Internet Explorer has always been my number 1, but I need Mozilla to do some other stuff, and Opera to play Flash online games as Internet Explorer 7.0 is really buggy nowadays...
Still. at the moment I'm writing on IE 7.0

firefox (once started up) is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster than ie (any version even 7). and i think ill stick to biting into chicken thanx.

the reason i switched to firefox is because i tried it once and started using it. now i cant go back to ie cause its so slow.k firefox takes longer to start up but is a hell of a lot faster browsing the internet. when ie 7 cae out i tried it out thinking itl be better but firefox still is much better. i guess its what u are used to.

microsoft also coppied lots from firefox into ie7. i think firefox being able to make a browser that so many ppl use it great, since lots of stuff (using windows) is microsoft.

btw can any1 help with my questoin? i dont think i changed proxy settings but if i did how do i set to defaults?

yeah i have tried opera and others and i like firefox. opera is fast like firefox (since ie is slow) so i would rather use opera than ie but i prefer firefox.

btw can any1 plz help on my question? thanx
 
I like FireFox because I find it to be a lot more secure than any version of IE. I get almost no popups with FireFox, and it just seems to be more user friendly. I like the options that FireFox gives and it just seems to be an overall better program for browsing than anything that Microsoft has released, but that is just my opinion.

i agree and one of the most important things which is why i use firefox is because it is a hell of a lot faster than ie.
 
Opera is pretty sweet... I use FF more though...

Opera has a good visual option interface just like firefox has its "about:config"

yeah i dont like opera but if i had to i would use it instead of ie (anything but ie!) firefox is the best though. yeah i sped up my firefox by using abou: config.

hell yeah just look at the poll results (not that i means much). firefox is the best browser around!!!
