I have Firefox 3 and something just started to happen to me.

When I play a video on YouTube it play good but if I stop it and click the back buttton and pick another video to play it will play it and then if I click on the back button again to play another video it wont play.

I have to close Firefox and start Firefox again and go back to youtube to play the videos.

And this happens all the time now.
 
Never heard of that problem. Try useing IE and see if that works fine and if it does then uninstall FF and reinstall
 
This is really new to me... i have been using FF since last few years. why dont you re-install the browser, i guess this will solve your problem
 
wow! this really means that this is recommended browser for everyone, problem in it could be resolved so easily!
 
Firefox

I had a problem sorta like what you had. I use only firefox, I detest I.E. and I watch a lot of videos. But about 4 months ago the videos wouldnt work except on rare occasions. It was really weird. I ended up using Google Chrome for videos and FireFox for everything else. That was a pain!

I got tired of messing with the two browsers and had tried a bunch of other things like clearing cache and ununstalling all the add-ons I had for FF. It didnt help, so I backuped my bookmarks and uninstalled FF then reinstalled it. No more problem.

All I could figure was that maybe an update got messed up. Or maybe my virus scanner eliminated a false positive that was crucial to FF running.

No more problems.
