firefox issue after updating to ver 22.0

I can't figure it out. My google search bar is all of 11" long. The bar for typing the website is about 2" long. i can't see the full site im at. I want to make the Google search bar about 4" long. Any ideas? Or make them the same length on both.

Move the mouse pointer to the area between the Address bar and the Search bar and a double-ended arrow will appear. Click there and slide left/right to resize the two bars.
