Firefox not default browser?

So firefox definitely is my default browser, however every time I start it up I get the, firefox is not your default browser, and it's getting extremely annoying, okay it isn't terrible but it is obnoxious.

Depending on how you have your start menu you can go Start > Default Programs, set it that way and see if it works, otherwise do a reinstall.

What is your OS?

Like I said, it is definitely set as the default browser and XP is my OS

Untick the "always check...." case.

Well, I don't know what happened, but the message just stopped appearing, I really didn't do anything to fix it, it just stopped.
