Firefox not playing video clips...

I love Firefox now! I'm so glad that my friends introduced it to me, but it has one downfall... for the moment:D

For some reason I can't watch video clips while using Firefox off the internet! Is there some option that I am not aware of? Also, since I chose for Firefox to be my main browser, I no longer get Steam update news correctly. Whenever the news box appears it is blank! Whenever I try to use IE again it just tries to connect to a server and an I.P. address is listed at the bottom! Help?

its most likely you need to download the pluggin goto https://pfs.mozilla.org/plugins/?application=firefox download them all to be safe then try :)
