Firefox Seems Very Slow

Hello all.

Well recently I've noticed Firefox being extremely slow with websites, and in some cases timing out when trying to visit / maneuver around various sites (including this one). I was just wondering if there is any way to speed up how fast Firefox loads websites etc within the about:config. As I seem to remember changing something in there on another machine and it helped speed it up a little. Any ideas? Suggestions? I've ran spyware scans, virus scans etc so it definitely isn't anything like that. I just think it's FF being odd.

Running 2.0.0.3 by the way.

Maybe it's your connection... Cause I don't have that problem with firefox...
 
I've had similar problems with Firefox. Usually it would fix itself, but in some cases, I had to fiddle around with the internet connection, uninstalling internet related programs, etc etc.

Do you have any torrent programs installed? And does the internet connection do the same thing on any other browser? Or just FF.
