Okay, I use Yahoo for my mail. Whenever I try to open mail, look at my inbox, send an email, etc... It just says "Loading..." on the top until I click another tab and then when I switch back to Yahoo, the loading bar went away, but it hasn't loaded what I want. I use FireFox for my Browser and I tried downloading the Yahoo bar, but that only works for opening one page at a time.
 
I haveyahoo as my home page - not experiencing that problem.

There was a period of a month or two - where I had to re-enter my password a few times - and it would take me to my profile screen - and it was annoying that I had to back out to get into my email - but that symptom went away. Everything on Yahoo mail and Firefox is working peachy for me right now.

It seems like the Yahoo Mail loads pages on the site itself... is there something I need to download to allow that to happen?
 
have you tried clearing the browser history it usaully works for this kind of problem, in particular clearing out all the temp files and cookies
