Ever since installing firefox beta2 my browser screen "bounces" up & down.SO i thought this is a bug..So i decided to unintall it and restore my oold firefox only to notice that my old fox is "boucing" too.

what is causing this ? IE is running fine.
 
When upgrading here from FF 1.5 to the RC2 beta just selecting a bookmark would see it freeze right up. After the total removal of FF the fresh download of 1.5 for the reinstallation has been trouble free. Have you tried a fresh download to see if you had a bad install from a copy saved to the drive? You can grab another download of 1.5 at http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

it wasn't the RC2 release.It was the MOZILLA FIREFOX2 BETA 2.
I thought it would be better but it has a slower startup.
Now im currently downloading the RC1 release.I'll update my progress later.

The FireFox 2.0 RC1 was the one being referred to that locked up here a few days ago when tried. A little typo error unfortunately. The news on the release is seen at http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0/releasenotes/#othersystems

That was tried and locked right up when going to select a bookmark that it included from the upgrade of the 1.5 version. Everything had to be redone. You may see better results then those of us who first went to try it out hopefully. As I mentioned on another thread the full version will most likely be the Vista compliant version when it is finished.
