Firewall + AV stopped working after I clicked an unsafe exe. HJT won't work either!

The problem: Earlier today I foolishly clicked an unsafe exe file. Five minutes after I did so my PC crashed. After it rebooted I noticed that my firewall and anti-virus software (McAfee) won't load-up. The name of the exe file that I clicked on is Replay AV 8.42.exe.

Unfortunately I can't post an HJT log. I just tried to run HJT and received an error message that said "HijackThis.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

What should I do to resolve this problem?

Your post is on more than one forum with the same problem. How are you going to work through more than one set of instructions and not have any conflicting advice.
You will have to choose one or the other.
