A firewall is a firewall they do one thing (BLOCK OPEN PORTS) you do however want a firewall that can block outbound traffic as well as inbound traffic so to answer all the questions of which is better download a firewall that blocks both and test it here https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 if all the little boxes are green and the program does not cause any conflicts with your computer then that one is the best...END OF STORY!

cuz in every ****in computer magazine i read they say ZoneAlarm is the best firewall, i dont use a firewall and i just posted an information which i found somewhere else
 
i have a program from my isp which is free and pretty good it doesnt even conflict with anything unlike some i could mention
 
i'm dont have anything against you im just playing around, you know, but i would suggest just to BUMP that thread not to make a new one
