heres my list of what im getting so far. the only things i have already ordered is the tower, PSU, and first hard drive. Is there anything else i might need. i'm also going with another 500 gb hard drive. thanks in advance

In my opinion, if your motherboard has on board audio, there is no need for a sound card unless you do audio work and will notice the differences.

If your a gamer, you might want something better than the 8800GT, considering that the 9600's just came out.
 
im not a big time pc gamer, the only game i play now is Age of empires 3. it's mostly going to be for media purposes, and maybe a little gaming. that's why im going for the 7.1 card instead of the on board audio. As far as budget. im not looking to spend much more than i already am. shipping is alot more to send it to my base here in Korea.
 
Get another PSU. StealthXStream 600W, just not Apevia. I was told some of their nicer looking power supplies actually melted.
