Well with some funding, I've decided to build a PC to replace this desktop, which is now rather obsolete. Obviously, its my first build, and I'm rather clueless. I've been researching and put together a list of things that would work for the gaming I want to do. Now its kind of in the stage of improving on them and checking for compatibility. (The latter of which I would never trust myself with without seeking outside help, which just happens to be you guys.) Below is a list of some of the products I've been looking at. Recommendations to improve performance or reduce cost are welcome

Motherboard: Heres where I am not positive of any choices whatsoever. I'd really like some suggestions on good motherboards for gaming uses if possible.

Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148140 ($79.99) or something with similar speed and capacity. I'll probably just end up going to a local PC store and getting one directly anyway.
Dvd drive: Honestly, I know nothing about CD/DVD drives. Reccomendations?
I made this list up quickly with bookmarks I had, so I may be missing something. Say something if I did please
edit: Just noticed I forgot a power supply. Ironically another thing im not too sure about.
