OK. I am a super nOOb! I've been crash learning everything I can about computers, and with my buddies help, I've made this list of computer to be. Please feel free to critique and suggest at will. I would like to duplicate the hard drive, RAM, and video card at a later date.

Im leanin on the intel.

some main diffs are...

45nm intel instead of 65 nm amd.

512mb on vid card instead of 1 gig

800 ram instead of 1066

and a few others...

Go for intel.
Motherboard: Go for P35 chipset for single video card. 780i for SLi. X38/X48 for Crossfire.

I know crossfire is 2 ati's right? and sli is serial link interface? for 2 nvidias? but, what is 780i and p35 and where do you find those specs respectively?

So is this a decent board? It supports ddr3, which should be cheaper by june when i build, but does it support nvidia? all it states is ati crossfire support..
