First build & water/liquid cooling..?

I'm aiming to embark on my first build later this year & am keen to squeeze as much performance as possible from whatever CPU I end up going for..

Kinda nervous about the whole build process if I'm honest, but what I've seen of liquid cooling setups seems incredibly complicated.. Is it something that a complete novice can (& should) realistically attempt?

I would probably stay away from custom liquid if you are a complete novice with PC building (if that is what you meant) If you need high end cooling for OCing I would go the route of an all in one liquid cooler or a better tower air cooler. Those are much easier to manage.

I don't mean to say that a novice can't do it, but unless you wan to put in a lot of work learning how to do it properly I wouldn't go down that road.

Its pretty basic stuff mate. You're connecting tubing, then filling it with coolant. Run it wihtout any other hardware, check for leaks then install the other hardware.. Have a go.

Post your budget, build and system and we can guide you.

This helps with my water cooling and air cooling questions as well, thank you! I'm OCing my RAM, GPU and CPU, so would you recommend using water or air?
