After a lot of help from people on here this is what I have come up with and wanted to double check before I order everything. If there is something you would change I would appreciate the suggestions.

The Case and PSU are still up in the air, but will be one suggested by some of you.

Mobo
intel BOXD945PVSLKR Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 945P
Processor
intel Pentium D 820 Smithfield 800MHz FSB 2 x 1MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Dual Core, EM64T
DVD Burner
Sony DVD Burner
VGA Card
AOpen Geforce 6600GT 128MB 128-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X
Internal Card Reader
Koutech 9-in-1 USB2.0 Internal Black Digital
And also Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound

OS will be windows XP Pro, do you see anything I have left out, want to order today. :D

A floppy drive might be usefule if you want one, but isnt necesary, maybe a sound card? You just want to be sure your case has good airflow and you have a good psu.

Edit: Also noticed you got some thermal compound, so i guess you must have decent heat sink in mind?

Actually no, thought the processor came with heat sink? To be honest have no clue what the thermal compund is for, I was guessing it would be in the manual that comes with the processor.

I should also add, that the system will include a 160 gb WD Serial ATA hd and 1g (2 X 516) DDR2 Ram

The thermal compound is what transfers heat from the cpu to the heat sink. If you have bad thermal compund then not as much heat willl be transfered and your cpu will run hotter.

For a work computer, would you recomend this, if so any sugestions on what to purchase?

Yeah if your not going to be doing any overclocking (which it appears you aren't) then stock cooling should be fine.

A floppy drive might be usefule if you want one

Who uses a floppy drive anymore? :)

easier to boot from a floppy drive.

I hate to have said this late..but the video card you ordered is not going to be compatible with that motherboard :(. The video card is an AGP while the Intel 945P board you selected doesn't have an AGP port, it only has a PCI-Express for video cards. Once you get the card, explain your situation to Newegg and return it, go for a PCI Express 16x video card.

Oh wow, I didn't even see that. wow... well looks like some one might be sending a video card back to newegg.... wow that stinks I'm sorry man.

Thats ok, I may pick up a cheap one so I can still put it together then swith it out when I get the pci one back.

Just rember to send the AGP one back asap so you get the good one sooner. I would start talking to new egg now. I know what a pc is like with out a good video card, I didn't get mine yet because i don't have the money so im using some 4mb pci card and i stinks. I can't do any gaming and if i watch any movies on my pc i can't resize the divx screen other wise the video and audio are off, so i would recomend getting that fixed asap.
