I have decided to build my first computer, here is what i picked out so far.

CoolerMaster CM690 Nvidia Ed. Atx Case Sli ready

Asus M3N72-D Motherboard ( Nvidia 750a SLI, socket AM2/AM2+, ATX)

AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 Black Edition Quad Core CPU

Corsair TX750W 750W ATX 12V 60A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 140MM Fan

Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400 2GB 2X1GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL 5-5-5-18 240PIN

Seagate Momentus 7200.3 320GB 2.5IN Sata 7200RPM 16MB Notebook Hard Drive Oem 3YR Mfr Warranty

Evga E-GEFORCE Gtx 260 Core 216 Sc 55NM 626MHZ 896MB 2.1GHZ DDR3 PCI-E 2XDVI-I Hdtv Out Video Card

There is what i have picked out so far, and i wanted to know if it all compatible. I also heard that you have to upgrade the bios on the ASUS mobo before you can run the Phenom 2 X4 955, how would you upgrade the bios? I will get another GTX 260 down the road to run SLI.

Any other suggestion and comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

P.S. My budget is CAN $1000, all these parts come to $1050

Imo, i would go for something like an ati 4870/4890 and an amd based chipset board, as those usually support new processors for a lengthier amount of time.

Here is the new mobo i choose, not sure which one though either Asus M4A79 Deluxe or Asus M4A79T Deluxe? and does anyone know if you have to flash bios on either boards? Since i am new to this i dunno if i want to risk doing it so i'd rather choose one which you don't have to do it for.
