Thanks for any help guys

i would suggest an Intel Core 2 Duo E6300... they are only $30 more than your AMD and they will blow it outta the water... but you will then have to find another compatible motherboard... i'd suggest this one... all in all it wil come out about the same price...

and i'm not sure about the video card... how hardcore of a gamer are you?

i mainly want to do flight sim, but im sure i will get into other games, im trying to keep the cost down as much as possible so im not too worried about being able to use the high settings

looks good to me... although i'd suggest to wait until some video card gurus take a look and suggest other video cards ;)...

now a question, i see the mobo says the memory has to be:

"Notice: Only DDR2-800 memory supporting JEDEC approved 1.8V operation with timings of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 is supported on Intel Desktop Boards based on Intel 965 Express Chipsets."

can you refer me to some memory that fits this criteria?

HERE's a 1GB G.SKILL DDR2-800 stick, similar to the other one you selected...

ok, final setup, any suggestions before i order it?
