I would save $100 and get the 2600K (unless you use software that can utilise 6 or more cores), it will work on that socket and be just as fast and overclocks further. They will be indistinguishable.

I would spend some of that $100 and get a better PSU. Look for the VX650W by Corsair. This will allow a second GTX670 to be added later if wanted and is much better quality.

Get a 1TB drive instead and spend the extra cash you still have leftover (total about $120) on an SSD.

Then it will be a fast nice PC.

Motherboard is low end.

CPU is useless if you are gaming.

GPU is fine, but the 7950 is faster and can OC better netting even more speed. Drop CPU to a 3570k and you can get a 7970/680 and have even better performance.

Cable management on that case is horrible, almost as bad as a 912. look at NXZT or Corsair for cases.

PSU has been covered, but the list of acceptable units is far longer than most users here will say.

meh, not the greatest, nor the worst. the seasonic is about one of THE best manufactures out there for psu's. if it were my system, id go seasonic everytime, great value for qualty

the gtx 670 is a great card. im using one right now and it smashes anything i play @1080p. i always get minimum of 45 fps with the most demanding games and that with all eyecandy turned on in game as well as in nvidia control panel. save the money from the 680, put it towards the seasonic and have a great gaming life

I don't know, the 670 is $150 cheaper, and it can probably run anything I'll use it for for a long time.

Also, what is a better power supply going to do? I mean, is there a reason it would be worth spending an extra $70 on the Seasonic?

The 670 is within 20 percent performance of the 680, so just get the 670. Do not get the thermaltake, but if you want a good cheap modular PSU, you don't need the seasonic, even though it's very nice. Get a HX 650M, not quite as nice as the seasonic, but still good. Make sure you get a i5 3570K and Gigabyte z77 UD3H also.

I've noticed that the "bronze certified" PSU's are all about $60-$70, and the "gold certified" ones are atleast $110. What's the difference between the gold and the bronze certified?

The gold units are more efficient but I agree with Bigfella above. I think you should get a TX 650 and a GTX 680 or an HD 7970.
