First Game Advice?

So I'm building the first computer I will have ever had that is able to play games that are better than 2D... bout time... I have been using my xbox for games but that got boring so im building what will be my new baby. I want the first game that I play on it to me a memorable one, im thinking of either portal 2 or dead space, or maybe another suggestion?

The Mass Effect series is epic. What type of games do you like?

Like I said, the Mass Effect series is memorable even if you have been playing lots of games, so definitely high on my list of suggestions... (The finale comes out March 6th of next year...)
