you mechanical can not fully utilize the SATA 3 bus. you may want to get a SATA 2 1TB drive. This really doesnt make a difference, but it may save you some money.
Just the opposite with your SSD. You should get a SATA 3 (6gb/s) SSD to fully take advantage of the potential of the SSD.

And as for the Case I would go for the Cooler Master HAF 922 better cable management than the Antec 900. :D

Thank You! I rather get the $130 motherboard and by switching to the cooler master case I end up paying the same exact amount as before. $1245 with two monitors seems like a great buy. Let me know if you guys have any other advice.

Lol fail. I was going to type "which PSU you recommend, but wrote CPU". But yea I was wondering about the intel i5-2500k in comparison to the phenom. From what i read people are saying it blows the phenom away....
 
I hate to say it but yes the Sandy Bridge Core i5 2500k is way way better in gaming compared to the Phenom II x4 955.

Go with anyone of them,XFX being the first preference,but they both are rock solid PSUs.
 
it does. The 2500k is one of the best processors on the market. But IMO, its not worth the price that intel asks for it.

I think the price is totally reasonable.$225 for the best gaming CPU out there which outperforms every AMD CPU in gaming, and also outperforms the $1000 intel chips.And also is it has an unlocked multiplier. So $225 is reasonable in my opinion.
 
I just dont see it when you can get a 6 core amd for 190.
The way that I see it, a quad core, not dependent on performance, should never be more expensive than a hexacore.
