that all looks good, but you may want to scale it down to 4GB of RAM, as most games wont access more anyway.
you mechanical can not fully utilize the SATA 3 bus. you may want to get a SATA 2 1TB drive. This really doesnt make a difference, but it may save you some money.
Just the opposite with your SSD. You should get a SATA 3 (6gb/s) SSD to fully take advantage of the potential of the SSD.
I would rather go for an AM3+ motherboard since it would be futureproof and you can upgrade to bulldozer

it does. The 2500k is one of the best processors on the market. But IMO, its not worth the price that intel asks for it.
