Building my first gaming computer but I need some help with it :P
Seeing that it's my first I thought I'd get some conformation on whether or not you guys think it'll run correctly or not and whether or not it's worth the money. If you can think of anything that's better than what's listed and is lower than the price I'm getting it for feel free to let me know and I'll definitely consider it!

I found all of this on Newegg.com

no no no.

Processor: Outdated tech. Look at the i5-3570k.

MOtherboard: That is low quality POS board there. MSI, Gigabyte, and Asus are the only ones to look at. The Gigabyte UD3H is the board to look at in that price range.

Case: Opinion, but if you are going to put out $59+ on a case, at least get a quality unit. Coolermaster is not that at all. In the same price range and better value would be: Rosewill Challanger, NZXT Tempest 410, NZXT Source 210, NZXT Gamma Classic, Corsair Carbide 200r.

RAM: that is fine, but for a few dollars more you can get 1866/2133 and have better performance.

GPU: You really want the 7770GHz or above if you can afford it.

PSU: You can get better. Look at Corsair CX600 for example.

Thanks! That helped a lot and the price actually dropped a bit! I wasn't sure about just a 600w just in case I upgrade though so here's the new list.

What do you think?

WHats the budget total? I don't agree with everything wolfe is saying here. How much are we talking about. Wolfes first post would at a guess raise the budget by 20% to achieve. What is the budget?

The 2500K will stomp a 3570K at 4.7GHz in gaming I wouldve thought. It performs as good as a 2600K in games and 2600K is still the fastest CPU out there for gaming (assuming you call the 2700K a 2600K which it is).

Also, the original rosewill psu looks to me like a reasonable quality one. Its only powering a 7750 on a budget board. A 450W quality psu would be loads. 32A on 12V rail is my recommendation.

Please just post your budget, what hardware you already have (e.g. monitors and keyboard), what games you want to play (e.g. BF4 or Crysis3), what resolution your monitor will be when playing (e.g. 1080p).

This is getting real old quickly. You are basing arguments on CPUs as SB OCd vs IB stock. The 3570k is the faster CPU clock for clock. Both at the same clocks, the 2500k is beat. Hands down. both at 4.7 or 5GHz, it does not matter. And equal price.

If you plan to argue the fact, Then please show us a bench with the 2500k and 3570k at the same clocks and the 2500k being stronger. I really want to see that bench. (as it does not exist)

PSU, the green series is generally not that great of quality, but either way. The Corsair is $10 more. OPs call.

And the only thing I already have is my Diablo 3 mouse. Ill mostly be playing WoW, Diablo 3, Left for Dead 2, and maybe Starcraft later on. And 1080p for sure.
If you could also recommend a cheap gaming keyboard of decent quality, that'd be nice as well.

$715 with Windows 7, $750 with a HDD that you will probably need too. Either way, this bad boy below packs a GTX670, 2500K, 8GB of fast ram, powered by a quality Seasonic that can deliver over 444W on the 12V rail alone. The case is the classic Antec 300, which is budget, but solid. Smaller sized case that suits this build well.

$88 PSU - Seasonic 37A 12V Rail http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151124
$615

Edit, go the 3570K, it really wont make that much difference.

That all looks pretty good, but I might change the case later:P Also I'm thinking about going for an AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Six-Core Desktop Processor FD6100WMGUSBX. If I overclock it ill get a different cooler though.

If you go for an AMD processor, you'll need a different motherboard. Don't get the FX-6100, again, it's old, get the FX-6300 - much better.

Looks to me as if you were looking at i5s before - I'd personally get the 3570K over the 2500K now (simply because the 3570K is newer) and I'd also take a 3570K over any AMD processor out there at the moment.
