First time building computer, why is my fps so low?

Hello there. I built my first gaming computer, and I get bad fps and a lot of lag spikes. My computer isn't better than my friends one and my old one. There is only a few fps between my old computer and this one.

I did not buy a whole new computer only motherboard, CPU, and Graphics card.
The computer has the following specs:

I assume that's a cheap unit?

I'm guessing that power supply isn't strong enough to push that video card. You should have at least a 650 watt psu.

What do you think I should get in Dayz, Battlfield, Assasins creed 3 and so on.?

You should be maxing them out. That psu only has 400 watts on the 12 volt rail. You definately need to get a different one. Where do you buy your parts from? You will need a good brand. Something like a corsair tx650
