Hello!
I am new to this thread and would appreciate some help :).
See, I am soon building a computer, and need some advice. I have visited this forum, and noticed VistaKid is a large contributor, so I would SO much appreciate his help ;)! I do know alot about computers, but with my budget, /i want to get the best deal(s)!
Anyways, I need a build for Medium- Use Gaming. I have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers already. I have about $450 to put in this build. I would like 8 GB RIPJAWS and a RADEON 6760+. So show me what you guys have figured out! Thanks!

Oh, and I am in the US if that helps!

Hey Sevenkid, meet your match! Vistakid... well, ex Vistakid (I got my name changed).

Anyway, for 450 you're not going to get an amazing rig, but it should be better than the laptop in your signature. I will get a build up for you soon.

Sorry for the late reply btw.

OK so it's over-budget, this is all $506 and doesn't include Windows. 450 is a very small budget it would seem unless you get a cheaper graphics card.

What do you think? If you went for this card instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161395 that would bring the cost down to $441, so it would be in budget. It should be OK.

I assume you also have the case and PSU.

Why not look at a Motherboard Bundle, as it may work out cheaper and all the parts are designed to fit together.

If your PSU has mainly MOLEX (Large whilte 4 wire )power connection you may need to get either a new PSU for SATA or adapters.

Have a look at this page annd decide if you want to go this route.

He says this is his first time and he only mentions he has a keyboard, mouse, speakers and a monitor so I assume he doesn't have hardware for the PC.

Newegg sometimes have some good combos, but that processor, board and RAM I listed should all work together perfectly.
