Anyone familiar with it? I'm giving it a try but I can't really figure it out and I haven't found a good guide to how to use it.

It's FL Studio 7 BTW

Thanks :)

Yeah the FL series are great. I make my musical career with FL Studio 4 still, I dont think I've tried 7 yet, and I know 8 is out. Best bet (speaking from a few years experience) is to experiment, and learn by trial. You can't do much wrong with this program.

I've tried it.. I wasn't really impressed with it.. Mainly cause I didn't know how to work it and I didn't spend the time out to learn it :P

Lets put it this way; I've been using this program for 8 years now, and I still don't know everything there is to learn about it.

Exactly

There is so many options and things to do it is just rediculous!!

I have tried it before and was impressed with it.

You might want to search Youtube I know there is some tutorials on there

Ahh Fl-Studio isn't that hard! :)
I can just about use most of it fairly comfortably. If there's anything in particular you need help with mate I'd be more than happy to help- you could add me on MSN if you fancied.
I've only recently started taking it more seriously and have my first kind of "proper" song in production.

Even though a lot of the tutorials on this website are mainly on how to make hip hop and R'n'B music the tutorials are good for any genre of music you're trying to create.

Check out YouTube as well. And like said above just experiment and practice.

I like FL-Studio great program. I like that the menu where you put all the parts together kind of auto tunes it so it has the best quality. I have made a few basic beats with it but you can pretty much chop and screw it anyway you want. I had a website with a whole bunch of sound packs in it and I downloaded a few. Its all in how you toy around with the sounds. I was getting into it before i was forced to take time from it. I had read a few of the tutorials that came with it and i have to say, they are kind of confusing. Idk what a gate is lol But you will find a lot of beats are made from FL and I am sure you can chop up any sound you can think of in any way you can think of with FL. Awesome Prog!
