flakey RGB Gamma

alright, i've been using my computer to watch movies a lot more recently, and as such started messing with the settings to optimize the picture (enabling reverse telecine, noise reduction, etc) however i've been having a problem with the RGB Gamma settings. they won't stay where i put them. most of the time when i go back to the option, they've decreased by 1 (i.e. 25->24) and occassionally they'll reset to a completely random, and godawful, value like 7, or -9 which makes the picture look like crap. i have no idea why it does this, i've even updated my drivers from 91.47 to 97.92 adn get the same errors, so i'm pretty sure that's not the prob, but i could be wrong.

i've updated my drivers to 97.92 but still have the same issue, and now with the option to optimize for NTSC or PAL, i've gotten a new issue, that setting never sticks. i always set it to NTSC and it always reverts back to none the next time i open the control panel. dont' even gotta have a solution for me here, just point me towards soemwhere i coudl find an answer

You got an nVidia card, correct? Try a few different versions of the drivers. I know they had problems with some older drivers, but I thought they were corrected...

Hehe, I probably should upgrade... I'm still running 91.31, but it works fine here on my 7600
