Hi all, I think this is the right section to post this if not then please feel free to move it.
I have about a 1GB of data that I don't want to lose.
This is in Windows XP pro.
Now here's my problem.
My Jump drive was a bit dirty so I put it under the faucet for a few seconds (less than five) and then I went to class and plugged in the drive, it started to work fine but then it started saying insert disk, cannot find file, and stuff like that.
And in my computer instead of saying the name I gave the drive it says: "Removable Disk (E)" And when I try to open the drive it Says "Please insert a disk into drive E:.
Now, sometimes after I unplug it and then plug it back in it works for a short time and then stops working again.
I know I shouldn’t do it this way but I don't use the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature. But since it was working fine until now I'm guessing this isn't the problem.
Thank you for reading.
