flash drive issue

I bought a new sandisk 2BG U3 flash drive a couple weeks ago, and it works in every computer except mine. And, my computer is friends with everyone elses flash drives, except mine. Any ideas?
 
Have you tried all the USB ports on your computer? For some reason my flash drive wont work on the front USB ports on my computer. I have to stick it in the back of the computer.
 
wow, thats weird, but what do you mean by, "it doesnt work"? does the computer not display it or is the computer not recognizing it?
 
Sorry... by "it doesn't work" I mean when i plug the drive my taskbar will go completely non-resaponsive, and my running progras slow to a crawl. After about 30 seconds, my whole computer freezes, and even unplugging the drive doesnt help. I have to restart to fix it. thanks for any help
