Flash drive problem

Recently moved 8GB of music to a Kingston 8Gb flash drive and now about half of the music files wont play and the info on these files is shown as numbers, zero's and squares instead of the usual info!
Anyone know what i need to do to retrieve these files?

It sounds like the files were corrupted during the transfer or possibly while on one of the drives. Do you still have the files on the original USB drive?

That's where the fun part is....i deleted the music files off the computer
The files checked out ok after transfer.
I am waiting for a reply from kingston, talked to the rep and sent pics of the drives, he believes that i may have a knock off!
Looks like i may have lost about 1000 music files!
It really does not look like there is a reliable way of storing info.
I'll post once i hear from the Kingston rep.

Ok. If you only recently deleted the files from your PC you may be able to recover the files with some software.
