Flash drives won't work.

I have been trying to figure this out for a while now, and maybe somebody will have some suggestions. I have a Biostar M7vig-400 socket A motherboard with the KM266PRO chipset, and XP Pro SP2. I have about 4 flash drives that just will not work with this board. When I plug them in all i get is a blinking light on the flash drive. Sometimes Windows will load the drive, but cannot read it. This happens on all 4 USB ports that I have. I have a few other things connected that work just fine (printer, camera, etc.) But when I installed a USB card the drive works fine. I have tried to install driver after driver, different ports, turn off power save, remove all other USB devices but to no avail. Does anybody else have any suggestions?

Have you tried googling your flash sticks and your motherboard make to see if anyone else has this problem? (as there might be a compatibility problem with that make flash drive to your motherboard). Have the latest chipset drivers installed? Checked the manufacturer website to see if your board is supported? Or if XP should detect them without problems?
