Flash won't install

I was prompted today by the computer to install a Flash update, and when I donloaded the installer and let it run it told me that there isn't enough space, but I can't imagine that's the case. I have one HDD partitioned into 3 partitions, one holds the swap file and temporary files and that has 1.08 GB remaining, I have the windows partition which has 888 MB remaining and a partition for data with 9.08 GB remaining.

This is the second consecutive version of Flash that this has happened to me on.

Your windows partition needs to be bigger if you only have that little space left. Sounds like you need a bigger drive. Make sure the browser isn't open while installing flash player.

The browser wasn't open.

Re: size of windows partition, why, isn't 800 enough?

800 mb isn't enough free space for windows to run correctly. Technically you need to leave anywhere from 10 to 15 percent of your drive open.

Anyone got an idea on this Flash thing?

You think this Flash thing might be due to this? Seems unlikely, 800 mb ought be enough to install Flash.

I would assume its flash player since its saying it doesn't have enough free space. As I said, you should never get below say 10-15 percent free space left on drives/partitions. If you are running out of space then upgrade to a larger drive.
