Flashing Bios

I am trying to flash the bios for the first time - Question is whether I have to flash it with all the files (there is about 5-7) or just the most recent one?

Depends on your motherboard... most manufacturers have a website with instructions for flashing your bios, you should make sure you read the instructions thoroughly and follow them carefully.

Hi there,
This is easy goto you manufactures web site...download the latest ROM file (for your mainboard) make sure the power is not goign to go of any time soon....and follw their instruction there should only be about 1 bios files i think you mean yuo have all the other (older) bios flash files in this case they are all not needed just the newest one..i hope i answered ur question thanx

interesting concept...however i think the worst that could happen is you woud need a new BIOS chip. i think its impossible to "blow-up" your computer with a bad flash.
