Flatscreen monitor recomendations

Hi

Im considering getting me a flatscreen monitor (TFT)as the one i have just uses too much space on my desk,Can anyone recomend me a some good picture quality ones?

Im looking for maybe a 17" one.
My budget would be round £120 which is $280.43 in Australian Dollars and $205.86 American Dollars i think.

Also whatever flatscreen monitor i do get will i just be able to plug it in and play or will i have to remove drivers and install new or something?

Tried Ebay? im sure you could pick up a DECENT monitor from there... i got my 8ms one from there for around £100 and its a beast
