How do you guys think Flight simulator 2004 will run on my pc?

I’m not interested in Flight simulator x.....because it requires too much of a beefy system to run.

So here’s Microsoft’s requirements for FS2004 but those recommended requirements are usually unrealistic and are no where near what a game really needs to run properly.

* Microsoft® Windows® 98/Me/XP/2000
* PC with 450 MHz equivalent or higher processor
* 128 MB of system RAM for 2000/XP, 64 MB RAM for 98/Me
* 1.8 GB available hard disk space
* 4x speed or faster CD-ROM drive
* 8 MB video card required
* Sound card, speakers or headphones required for audio
* Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
* 56.6 Kbps or better modem for online play

I think it will run ok maybe on medium graphics?:confused:

It will run flight sim '04, but not maxed out.

Hi,

Yeah i wouldnt expect it to run maxed out on my system...Think medium it will run?

Gonna see if i can find a demo and see but all i can find is a demo for FS:X:confused:

i used to have a win 95 version. thats back in the day for me! it was good though.

Thats nothing, my friend had one for windows 3.1 (or was it DOS? I can't for the life of me remember which flight sim it was, I do know that it came on floppy discs though.

You'll be fine. You'll see in my sig that my system is maybe a little nicer than yours, but by no means the best. I can run FS2004 at least at Medium quality, if not high. I can also run FSX with decent quality.

Ok thanks,

Gonna look for a demo now and try it out.

I agree your system will run it fine, and "Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device" that made me laugh.
