X XFs New Member Jul 13, 2006 #5 I guess this would apply to any hard drive, since it is a split off what a hard drive would use. 1 red, 1 yellow, 2 black Never thought about what voltage a hard drive runs at. It must be either 5V or 3.3V.

The_Other_One VIP Member Jul 13, 2006 #6 HDs run off 12v and 5v...or that's what's coming from the molex connector.
