floppy drive issues

so today i reformatted. everythign went well and just as i was tweaking stuff, i get the new hardware found balloon in the taskbar. i think to myself, k thats normal, but it finds ANOTHER floppy disk, labelling it '3.5 floppy (b:)' in 'my computer'. i only have ONE floppy drive.. this has never happened to me before so i dont knwo what to do.

My system specs are...
amd 64 3500+
asus a8v-e deluxe mobo
2x512 corsair ram
120 gb hdd
160 gb hdd
ONE FLOPPY DRIVE
asus ati x800 vid card
creative sb audigy se sound card
antec neopower psu

anyone know how i can fix this?
 
my computer just thinks it has an extra floppy drive, which it doesnt I AM SURE... i tried going to device manager and uninstalling it, but everytime i do that, whenever i restart the new hardware found balloon thing pops up and installs it as a floppy drive. i dont know how to stop it
