I have put a new floppy drive in my new pc and for some reason when I put a floppy in it won't work. When the system boots up I have got the floppy to drive to boot first and same again, it doesn't read floppys there also. One thing I have noticed the green LED light stays on so it's connected but nothing else. Any help guys please?

Your ribbon IDE cable is backward, turn the end around on the drive,I dont mean turn the whole cable around just flip one end
