Floppy / Media Readers

I'm still looking for a FDD with or w/o a Media reader and would like to know what the general consensus is on I/O Majic and Iomega FDD's. Also, does the Bios automatically recognize internal FDD's or would I have to make adjustments regardless of whether I end up choosing a internal or external (USB) FDD?? Yes, I'm confused!! Thanks in advance for any info. :)
