Folders inaccessable

I have a Lenovo laptop with WIndows 8.1.

Just found an issue when attempting to open a folder - my Pictures Library.

It is saying "My Pictures is not accessibile" Access id denied Same with My Music also.

Very strange, anyone have a fix for this please,

You are trying to access the wrong folders. Do you have your user folder visible on the desktop? If not, right click on an open area on the desktop and click on personalize and then on the left click on change desktop icons and put a checkmark next to computer, user files, control panel. Now you have access to your personal files.
