For Microsoft Flight Simulator X

Hey guys. I got my father the MS Flight Simulator X Deluxe edition for Christmas. This gift means a lot to him because he was a real pilot until someone took his wings. Sad but long story so I'll get right to the point. When I installed it, I couldn't believe the amount of space it required. Requires 32GB of hard drive space for installation, 15GB thereafter. Is it just me,...or is that a LOT of space? More importantly, I do not think my video card is gonna do the job. It's an NVidia GEForce 5200. Not good, right? Any suggestions? I don't want to spend $300 for a video card. I would like to keep it around $100-$150. However, out of curiosity and hypothetically speaking, if money was no issue what is the best of the best video card?

I would genuinely appreciate your advice.
Thanks,
Chris

The best video card in the world at the moment is either the HD 4870 X2 or the GTX 295. For your needs, I would reccomend the 9600 GT, 9800 GT, HD 4670, or HD 4830. They all fall somewhere around that price range.
