For Video Editing?

be good for a little bit of video editing? I want to run adobe premiere elements, and i also want to bring it to school somtimes. I see that it's a 9 cell battery, what type of battery life do you think that would give me?

pretty much everything that i can see is better.

i suggest you go for newegg if its in your area

I'm in the niagara region of Ontario.
tigerdirect.ca is close to me too..

I definately don't want an acer computer, my family and me have had 3, and they have been nothing but problems.

I also am looking for a 14 or 15 inch screen, and a longer lasting battery. I was looking at a macbook, but they are so expensive lol

any suggestions?

well acer seems to be the only brand i can find that have decent specs for under 1000.

haha well i have found 2 options that i think would be good.

it has good graphics and a 3 hour battery life.

it has the same graphics and a 4.5 hour battery life.
and is 50 bucks cheaper.

ok. i have come to the conclusion that if you dont go acer here are my best options.

best option. faster processor, 2 gig of ram. better graphics. decent battery life,
and its reduced from $1050. so your saving a fair bit.

this one is from canada computers. im not sure if they are trustworthy or not. haha

i'm still looking at that toshiba that i first posted, it has the 9 cell lithium battery, and that should have another hour of battery over the hp you posted..

because im going to be bringing it to school, this is a big concern for me

the video editing thing is just a thing me and some friends do for fun, so it won't be used that often..

although it only has 4 hours of battery.
but i think that you will be able to be running it off mains power anyway for some of the time.

so sacrificing other features for a little extra battery isnt really worth it in my opinion.

mind you this does have a pointless inbuilt webcam haha
