Bodaggit23 Active Member Oct 16, 2009 #4 Why set up a username and password, if anyone can just boot into safe mode and change it? One of the dumbest things ever added to Windows XP, IMO. This "feature" has been removed (thankfully for me, but not the OP) from Vista.
