I need to reformat my computer this weekend or in the very near future, but my question is that when it is all re-set up, I will need the password to the router to get on to the wireless. I have called the tech support so many times to fix the connection problem with the router, and ever time they have had me change the password, and this time I have forgotten the password.
My first question is there something in my computer that I can check to see what the password is without the dots? Is there a way to save a config file that I can just copy over from the new computer that will have the password saved?
It’s a netgear router. If someone knows the step-by-step way to get in to the options to change it and could help me out that would be great. I would love not to have to waist 2 hours with tech support over this problem.
thanks
