Format question...

Im getting ready to purchase Xp to install on my new build, do i need to format the drive before installing xp? does it format during Xp install? all that i have done wth computers i have never installed XP on a new hdd :o
 
During the install it will walk you through the process of creating a partition and installing the OS into it.. No formatin required. :)
