Formatted Hard Drive

Yo Guys,

Basically i tried to play some music but it wouldnt work so i tried to locate the files on my external HDD and my PC wasnt finding it so i fuond it in Computer management and it was something like "in-active" so i activated it and it was all unallocated space, the whole 300GB. This was all my everything!!!

I quick formatted it to access it in "MY Computer" and it worked but still no files.


I Ran "RecoverMyFiles" quick format recover and it found very little, just a few 2-10kb files. A complete recover which i ran got to 0.5ish% in 9 hours and found loads of tiny idiot kb files.


PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks for the prompt response but - NOT TRUE.

A friend had the same problem with a 7.5GB hard drive and ran a complete scan with RecoverMyFiles and resorted every last file but like 2 or 3 newly made mp3's.

Please can the responses keep coming...Thanks
