formatting a drive

hi.. i'm trying to format my hard drive.. but my A drive is broken .. so i won't be able to boot to A drive and format my C..... and unfortunately, i don't have DOS on my system.... i can only boot to my WinXP which is located on my only hard drive i'm trying to reformat!!.... is there anyway i can go around it and format from CD???

Once you put in the winXP CD and start the setup, they will give you a couple of options before the actual installation proceeds: either quick or full reformat, or reinstallation in the default directory over the previous installation.
