Formatting A HDD

ok i was talking to this computer tech guy and he said that some computers require the 8mb partition or whatever on a hdd for it to read the hardware of the computer. I used this HDD in another computer previously and i only formatted the huge partition. My question is how do i format this 8mb partition, it already says its unpartitioned space and it wont left me delete it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
 
You can't delete unpartitioned space! Then you'll have nothing left.
Get a hd formatter (there are plenty of free ones knocking around) most of these are self explanatory or contain instructions.
