gotta new seagate 250gig and its not showing up in disk drive manager.. any suggestions?
formatting my new hdd

Use your XP cd to partition it, dont use it to format, then it should show up

well, i figured it out... my motherboard was in "raid" mode and not regular "ide" mode and thats why it wasnt showing up. i switched it to regular mode, let it tell me there was no system drive, switched it back to raid mode and it showed up just fine. 
only 232gb tho, gotta hate that. lol they should just make them according to microsofts standard gigabyte.
