Formatting won't finish

I wanted to format my computer (MSI EX720) using the recovery disks. Everything went fine until my computer asked to insert the second recovery disk, the process continued but it stopped after five minutes and gave an error. The process could not be finished and I had to restart my computer later using the recovery disks. I retried it three times and at the end my pc wouldn't even recognise the second recovery disk. What can I do?

P.S.: The Pc isn't mine but I messed it up. Probably bad recovery disks, I didn't burned them
 
You could try running KILLDISK 4.1 - Google it. It's a program for erasing data from hard drives.
 
DBAN (http://www.dban.org/) will securely erase your disk but it sounds like you're trying to perform a system recovery/reinstall with the merchant supplied disks? Any chance you could download the media from the manufacturer site as the media sounds as if it's damaged in some way?
