Hey guys i have a 6600GT pci x16 (yeah its old dont make fun of me lol) and i have it overclocked from Core: 325 to 500mhz and Mem: 533 to 550. but i have gotten the clock Memory clock to 680mhz but i started seeing artifacts, and my temps were only at 66C to 72C..


why am i seeing artifacts when i was not even close to overheating?

also does my graphic card nvidia 512mb 6600 use shared memory? i looked at gpu z, rivatuner, and system info and none of them really tell me if the card has 100% onboard memory
 
you posted in the wrong section,this is the Cpu section :)

anyway,the reason its artifacting is because your pushing the card too far,lower those clocks until you get it stable.

run Ati tools to scan for artifacts.
