With PHPBB or vBulletin, is it possible to make a specific user part of a category?

The reason I ask: I am going to be running a sports forum for my area soon, I estimate to have 7 counties with 25 high schools.

Like how we have our avatar, post count, date joined, etc. On my forum, I want something that shows like a logo which symbolizes the school that the user is a fan of(supports, whatever you wish to call it).

Does anyone know here?

I use Vbulletin 3.6.8 on the Forums that I own. You can create user groups, etc (I think up to 50, but I'd have to confirm that). There is also a lot of user functions in the admin panel where you can alter certain things. I am still learning it myself, but there are also a few websites out there where you send the guy $75 and he can pretty much do whatever you want him to.

You're a godsend, I was waiting on someone that uses vBulletin to show up ;) See that's where I would have to learn how to configure it, it's just me though, I wouldn't allow someone else to do it, I am stubborn.
